Crafted from historic Lionel Madison car tooling, the passenger cars - one baggage, two coaches, and one observation car - are decorated in the stylish blue-and-silver hues of the Wabash Railway. Even the lighted drumhead art is accurate; it depicts the Midnight, a high-speed Wabash passenger train that ran between Chicago and St. Louis during the 1940's and 50's.
Each car features high-quality plastic and metal construction, and rides on six wheel die-cast trucks with post-war-style magnetic lift-plate passenger couplers. Interior illumination in the three passenger-carrying cars adds a warm glow to all your Wabash operations.
